Summary: | In this work, an Eu3+-based dual-function metal–organic framework [Eu2L2(DMF)(H2O)2]·2DMF·H2O [H3L = 5-(1-carboxynaphthalen-4-yl)benzene-1,3-dioic acid] (1) has been successfully constructed. This compound can effectively detect Cu2+, Fe3+, and 4-nitrophenol with low detection limits of 18.3, 12.2, and 3.63 ppm, respectively. It also displays a high second-harmonic generation response ca. 2.0 times that of KH2PO4. |
