These data consist of the quantitative values calculated for the students studying in Eastern Black Sea Region during 2014 education period according to TUIK Youth data. The method of study is the diagnostic research method. In the first part of the study, basic concepts related to higher education and in the second part, the effects of higher education on regional development in the light of previous studies are mentioned. In the third part, there are quantitative results showing the contribution of the university students to the regional economy, and the last part is the study-related evaluations.
