Summary:A new 3-（3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl）-propane-1,2-diol glycoside,named cinnamomdiol A（1）,together with two known compounds,3-（3,4-methylenedioxyphenyl）-propane-1,2-diol（2） and taxifolin（3）,was isolated from the roots of Cinnamomum camphora.Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic evidences.Compounds 2 and 3 were isolated from the title plant for the first time.
