Summary:New thermostable polymers containing p‐nitrophenyl substituted quinoxaline units and imide rings as well as flexible amide groups have been synthesized by polycondensation reaction of a diaminoquinoxaline derivative carrying p‐nitrophenyl substituents with diacid dichlorides incorporating preformed imide cycles. These polymers show better solubility compared to related products which do not contain nitro groups. They have also a high thermal stability and good electrical insulating properties. Durch Polykondensation von α,ω‐Diaminen mit p‐nitrophenylsubstituierten Chinoxalingruppen und α,ω‐Dicarbonsäuredichloriden mit Imidringen wurden neue thermostabile Polymere erhalten, die sowohl substituierte Chinoxalin‐Gruppen und Imid‐Ringe als auch flexible Amid‐Funktionen enthalten. Diese Polymeren weisen eine im Vergleich zu entsprechenden Polymeren ohne Nitrogruppen bessere Löslichkeit auf; sie sind außerdem thermisch sehr stabil und verfügen über gute elektrische Isolationseigenschaften.
