Description
Summary:Front Cover. Artemisinin is extracted from Artemisia annua L. Its derivative, dihydroartemisinin (DHA), is divided into α and β configuration based on the orientation of hydroxy groups on the 10th carbon. Starting from DHA as the raw material, modifications of the C‐10 position were made, and artemisinin dimer derivatives with varying chiral structures were synthesized by linking different motifs. The study of structure–activity relationship showed that the β,β and α,β configurations were more effective in inhibiting tumor growth compared to the α,α configuration as presented by Lingyun Yue et al. in their research article at 10.1002/cbdv.202300615.
