Summary: | Pillars are not only used as structural elements in architecture or civil engineering but also on a nanoscale to obtain 2D vertical zeolitic architectures with improved interlamellar accessibility. This work aims to use pillars containing silicon and niobium oxides, with the latter as an active phase for the catalytic oxidation of volatile organic compounds such as benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX), which is an important reaction for environmentally clean technology.
