Description
Summary:The Cover Feature illustrates the ‘Quantal Newtonian’ First Law (QNFL) for a semiconductor quantum dot. The QNFL constitutes a complementary perspective (of the individual electron) to the stationary state Schrödinger‐Pauli theory of electrons. According to the Law, the sum of the external and internal fields experienced by each electron vanishes. The various fields, and the satisfaction of the QNFL, are depicted.
