Summary: | Reflection and transmission when a three‐dimensional Gaussian beam is launched obliquely into a uniaxially anisotropic medium whose optical axis has arbitrary direction are analyzed. This problem is solved by using Fourier transforms. Solutions of reflected and transmitted beams having integral form are calculated numerically by using a numerical integral. As a result, physical considerations are presented and the G‐H shift (negative) is discussed. |
