Description
Summary:The Front Cover shows the differences in reactivity of platinum complexes bearing different N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC) ligands. Both systems are able to forge carbon‐boron bonds at low temperature through the initial formation of platinum σ‐BH intermediates, but as the temperature increases the process can be reversible or not depending on the NHC ligand. ItBuiPr systems can cleave the C−B bond but this process is not energetically feasible with IMes ligands. The authors thank the GEQO group of the Spanish Royal Chemical Society (RSEQ) for the invitation to contribute to the RSEQ‐GEQO Prize Winners Special Collection and Valle Ojeda for the nice artwork.
