Description
Summary:Atrazine is the pesticide that is found in surface water sources more frequently than any other pesticide. Therefore, the paper describes ultrasensitive detection of atrazine from fruit and water samples, using on‐site screening platforms incorporating stochastic microsensors based on graphite powder modified with 4‐tert‐butylcalix [4] arene and with calix [4] arene‐25,26,27,28‐tetrol. Limits of determination of 0.1 fmol L−1 were recorded while the sensors could have been used on wide concentration ranges, between 0.1 fmol L−1 and 0.1 mmol L−1. Recoveries higher than 95.00 % were recorded when used for the assay of atrazine in water, fruits and vegetables.
