Summary:Cover: According to a theoretical analysis in terms of a three‐state rotational isomeric state model, in favorable cases variations of conformational statistics can be described by a mechanism as simple as a children's game, where r ‐children are unfaithful messengers, m ‐children are faithful ones and the behavior of the whole sequence is determined by the number (even or odd) of unfaithful messengers. This mechanism turns out to be operative in many vinyl polymers and helps considerably in sequencing their tacticity‐spread NMR signals. The artwork has been realized by Dr. P. Vanacore.
