Summary: | The polymerization of vinyl derivatives of naphthalene and of the heterocyclic series containing the atoms of nitrogen, oxygen and sulfur has been investigated. It is proved that an increase in the number of condensed rings in the radicals replacing the hydrogen atoms in the ethylene molecule, as well as the introduction of heteroatoms (nitrogen, oxygen, sulfur) into these radicals increase the polymerization ability of the above compounds. |
