Description
Summary:Thin‐Film Solar Cells In article number 2000524, Yue Yang and co‐workers propose a composite light‐trapping structure with a double‐layer antireflection coating on the upper surface and Ag hemispheres on the substrate to achieve full‐spectrum absorption enhancement in a‐Si:H thin‐film solar cells. The short‐circuit current density and photoelectric conversion efficiency are improved by ∽40% compared to a 100‐nm‐thick bare cell and increasing the cell thickness to 400 nm could even approach the theoretical absorption limit.
