African American Men on College Campuses: Their Needs and Their Perceptions

This chapter provides a cursory look at the current status of black male college students as well as a review of a national survey that reveals some of their attitudes, beliefs, and perceptions of the campus environment. The perceptions are compared to those of African American women students.
