Summary: | Controlled Morphological Arrangements
In article number 2300186, Nadja C. Bigall and co‐workers show that the different valences of ions ensure that anisotropic nanoparticles arrange themselves among themselves in a certain way. In this picture, trivalent and bivalent ions ‐ represented as mythical creatures ‐ play the arrangement of building blocks according to a familiar game principle. While trivalent ions prefer the tip‐to‐tip arrangement, the building blocks of bivalent ions are preferably arranged side‐by‐side. |
