Activity of 2,4,5-trimethoxystyrene from Pachypodanthium staudtii against two stored product pests

2,4,5‐Trimethoxystyrene, extracted from Pachypodanthium staudtii, at different doses caused total mortality of Callosobruchus maculatus on cowpea in 72 h and Sitophilus zeamais on maize in 120 h. No F1 progeny were produced in treated grains. Copyright © 2004 Whurr Publishers Ltd
