Summary:Isentropic compressibilities κSand excess isentropic compressibilities κESof {xC4H8O, orxC5H10O, orx(CH3)C4H7O, orx(CH3)2C4H6O+(1−x)C6H11Cl, or (1−x)C6H11Br} were calculated from measured density and speed of sound measurements atT=(298.15 and 313.15) K. The excess isentropic compressibilities were fitted to the Redlich–Kister equation. The mixtures studied show large negative values for κES.
