Description
Summary:See adjacent abstract. The adsorption of hydrogen by steel membranes during corrosion is sulfur containing medium was examined experimentally. For analysis of experimental results the mathematical model of H adsorption by steel during corrosion process was developed. This model involves the kinetic occupancy surface of hydrogen atoms and their diffusion in volume of membrane. The model proposed is noted to be a first approximation failing to take into account the variety of factors. The influence of several surface active substances as inhibitors of corrosion on processes of corrosion and absorption H is S-containing medium is considered.
