Description
Summary:Previously abstracted from original as item 9107-31-3031. Friction and wear of self-lubricating materials based on Ni alloys within the temperature range of 20-1000 deg C in air are reported. Dry-film lubricant is shown to affect the level of tribotechnical characteristics of materials. It is recommended that the developed materials be used in dry friction units at temperatures to 1000 deg C. Materials used include Ni base alloy powders of EP741 with additions of TiC, CaF sub 2 and glass.
