This was found by chance and was cured by evacuation and filling with bone cement (PMMA). A literature review shows the rarity of this type of tumour, its clinical characteristics and its progression. Some specific histological features enable this benign fibrous histiocytoma of the bone to be distinguished from a non-ossifying fibroma with which it was previously classified.
