Simulation of the Magnetocaloric Effect in Sr2−xGdxFeMoO6 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.25)

The magnetocaloric properties for double perovskite oxides Sr 2− x Gd x FeMoO 6 with x = 0, 0.06, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25 under 0.05 T magnetic field have been theoretically investigated by using a phenomenological model. Description
Summary:The magnetocaloric properties for double perovskite oxides Sr 2− x Gd x FeMoO 6 with x = 0, 0.06, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25 under 0.05 T magnetic field have been theoretically investigated by using a phenomenological model. It has been noted that the Gd doping in this system decreases the magnetocaloric effect. However, magnetic properties in these systems are tunable for manipulating magnetocaloric refrigeration that occurs in various temperature ranges. This stimulates the Sr 2− x Gd x FeMoO 6 samples as recommended for practical applications.
