. This phosphate decomposes peritectically at about 1025 °C and occurs in two polymorphic forms; transformation β/α-KErP
2
O
7
proceeds at about 358 °C. The binary erbium end potassium diphosphate, KErP
2
O
7
, was obtained by the ceramic and modified Pechini methods. Structural properties were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and FTIR spectroscopy. |
