Summary: | Tests are carried out for implementing new unfired technology applied to manufacturing quartz steel-pouring refractories, rolls for furnaces annealing dynamo steel and vibration molding ceramic concrete blocks. Protection tubes prepared by this technology for steel pouring successfully pass plant tests with pouring steels both with a standard and increased manganese content. Their life is comparable with similar objects prepared by firing technology. |
