Description
Summary:In this paper, the multichannel access technology of wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) in the wireless ultraviolet (UV) scattering communication is studied. A multiinterface and multichannel device is deployed in each UV transceiver node. The bandpass filter is configured in the receiving node so as to realize the multichannel access by use of the UV WDM technology. Both the UV communication node model and the UV channel model are estab lished. Three types of UV nolineofsight (NLOS) multichannel communications are simulated in the mesh topolo gies with NS2. The results show that the UV multichannel access technology can increase network throughput ef fectively with using WDM.
