Summary: | Many undergraduate medical education (UME) programs are interested in implementing Core Entrustable Professional Activities for Entering Residency (Core EPAs). The Core EPAs have been adopted by one northwest medical school for health professional training enhancement, setting expectations for undergraduate medical education environments. The Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensure Examination-USA (COMLEX-USA) is a summative assessment sequence of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners. COMLEX-USA Level 2PE is a nationally-normed clinical performance evaluation. Results from sub-scores on this assessment can be matched to several entrustable activities, providing a context for discussion on documentation of student achievement within the Core EPA framework. |
