Summary:We explore the relationship between generalized toric varieties (quasifolds) and Lie groupoids. The mathematical framework that enables us to establish a simultaneous relationship between toric varieties, orbifolds, and quasifolds, with Lie groupoids, is known as LVMB manifolds. Additionally, we establish a link between generalized log transformations and the generation of categorical phantoms.
