Summary:Background Clear cell carcinoma of endometrium is a rare yet an aggressive subtype which mainly presents in older, post-menopausal women with post-menopausal bleeding. Diagnosis is usually difficult and histopathological examination with immunohistochemistry can be useful to obtain a correct diagnosis. Here, we present a case of clear cell endometrial carcinoma in a 58 years old female with a p53 mutant phenotype. Case Report We report a case of 58 years old female presenting with a chief complaint of post-menopausal bleeding. The suspected endometrial lesion on CECT was sent for pathological examination after a diagnostic curettage. Histopathological and immunohistochemical findings confirmed the diagnosis as clear cell carcinoma of the endometrium. Conclusion Endometrial clear cell carcinoma is a very rare and aggressive disease, and histopathological as well as immunohistochemical findings are crucial to obtain the right diagnosis.
