Summary: | The aim of this study was to evaluate the push-out bond strength and microhardness of three different calcium silicate-based cements for root canal dentin after exposure to different irrigation protocols. Three standardized canal-like holes with an 0.8-mm diameter were created on each root dentin slice with a thickness of 1 ± 0.1 mm and filled with either Biodentine, NeoPUTTY, or Well-Root PT. One hundred samples were randomly divided into five subgroups (
n
= 20) according to the different irrigation protocols: distilled water, saline, NaOCI, NaOCI/EDTA, and NaOCI/EDTA/CHX. All samples were subjected to a push-out bond strength (PBS) test. Ten specimens of each perforation material were prepared and randomly divided into five subgroups and exposed to the same irrigation protocols. Vickers microhardness (HV) was evaluated. Data were analyzed using a two-way analysis of variance and Tukey HSD test. The level of significance was 5%. The mean PBS values in the Biodentine after control (5.93 ± 1.98), saline (6.21 ± 1.95), and NaOCI/EDTA (5.63 ± 1.56) irrigations were significantly greater than those of NeoPUTTY and Well-Root PT after the same irrigations (
