Description
Summary:Correlation between the electrochemical function of ion-selective electrodes made of differently prepared mixed sulphides and their crystalline structure was investigated. X-ray diffraction and x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy reveal recrystallization of CdS on Ag 2S grains during co-precipitation or co-milling. This study supports the idea that there is a strong correlation between the electrochemical function and crystalline properties of the electrode materials.
