Summary:By means of experimental investigations of elastic scattering of fast O and F atomic beams by noble-gas (Ar, Kr, Xe) targets, parameters for repulsive interaction potentials of the form V = K/r n were determined. The range of potential interaction energy studied was 0.3 to 2.0 eV. In the case of the O-Xe system the experimental dependence of the effective total cross section on beam energy was found to be anomalous.
