Summary: | The intensity of the resonance electronic Raman spectrum of terbium aluminum garnet is discussed in terms of radiative, non-radiative and pure electronic dephasing processes which govern the width of the resonating excited electronic state. As a result of fast electronic dephasing in comparison to the other processes, the enhancement of the intensity of the electronic Raman band of the terbium ion is suppressed. |
