The effect of silver ion on electrodeposition of tungsten and tungsten carbide from molten chloride
Tungsten and tungsten carbide can be electrodeposited from molten chloride. However, the figure of the electrodeposit is usually needle-like or dendritic. By an addition of very small amount of silver ion in a molten chloride, cubic tungsten could be obtained.
