Explanation of high-frequency phase shift in ac impedance measurements for copper in low-conductivity media
The high-frequency phase shift is caused by the salt bridge, not by the sce itself. The resistance and the capacitance is believed to occur in the contact region between the low-conductivity solution and the tip of Luggin capillary.
