A procedure for implanting a slow release formulation of an environmental pollutant into a free-living animal

A technique for dosing wild animals with pollutants in their natural environment is described. It is suggested that this technique might prove useful in situations where the toxicity of a pollutant cannot be assessed in laboratory conditions.
