Summary: | Acetylenic polyesters were prepared by the ester-interchange method between dimethyl or diethyl acetylenedicarboxylate with ethylene-, diethylene-, or propylene glycols. Also a polyester was prepared by the action of ethylene oxide on acetylenedicarboxylic acid. Moreover, polyesters of acetylenedicarboxylic acid, maleic or phthalic anhydrides with ethylene glycol were prepared. Relatively high temperatures or long reaction periods led to the formation of insoluble polymers, and this may be due to the conjugated system

. All of the linear acetylenic polyesters prepared failed to cure with styrene except in the system acetylenedicarboxylic acid, maleic anhydride and ethylene glycol. The structures of the polyesters have been studied by examination of their i.r. and NMR spectra.
On a préparé des polyesters acétyléniques par la méthode d'interestification entre l'acétylène dicarboxylate de diméthyle ou de diéthyle et les éthylène, diéthylène ou le propylenè glycols. On a également préparé un polyester par action de l'oxyde d'éthylène sur l'acide acétylène dicarboxylique. De plus, on a préparé des polyesters avec l'acideacétylène dicarboxylique les anhydrides maléique ou phtalique et l'éthylène glycol. Des températures relativement hautes ou de longues durées de réaction conduisent à la formation de polymères insolubles et ceci est peut-être dû au système conjugué

. Tous les polyesters acétyléniques préparés ne durcissent pas en présence de styrène sauf le polyester issu du système acide acétylène dicarboxylique glycol. On a étudié la structure de ces polyesters en examinant leur spectre i.r. et RMN.
Si sono preparati dei poliesteri acetilenici con il metodo degli scambi di esteri tra acetilendicarbossilati di dimetile o dietile con glicolietilenici, dietilenici o propilenici. Si è preparato pure un poliestere mediante l'azione di ossido di etilene su acido acetilendicarbossilico. Inoltre si sono preparati poliesteri di acido acetilendicarbossilico, di anidridi ftaliche o maleiche con glicole etilenico. Temperature relativamente elevate oppure lunghi tempi di reazione hanno portato alla formazione di polimeri insolubili, e ciò potrebbe essere dovuto al sistema coniugato

. Tutti i poliesteri acetilenici lineari preparati non poterono venir induriti con stirene eccetto nel sistema acido acetilenbicarbossilico, anidride maleica e glicole etilenico. Si è studiata la struttura dei poliesteri esaminando i loro spettri ai raggi i.r. e NMR.
