The excess enthalpies of ( n-hexane + toluene) at 308.15, 358.15, 413.15, 470.15, and 573.15 K from 7.50 to 12.50 MPa

The excess molar enthalpies H m E{ x( n-C 6H 14) + (1 − x)C 6H 5CH 3} were measured from 308.15 to 573.15 K and 7.50 to 12.50 MPa with an isothermal flow calorimeter. All mixtures showed endothermic mixing with maximum H m Es occurring near x = 0.5. A modified Soave equation of state was used to cor...

Description
Summary:The excess molar enthalpies H m E{ x( n-C 6H 14) + (1 − x)C 6H 5CH 3} were measured from 308.15 to 573.15 K and 7.50 to 12.50 MPa with an isothermal flow calorimeter. All mixtures showed endothermic mixing with maximum H m Es occurring near x = 0.5. A modified Soave equation of state was used to correlate H m E with an average standard deviation of 14 J · mol −1 below the critical region and 86 J · mol −1 above the critical temperature of n-hexane.
