Summary: | The possibility of using Se70Ag15I15 films as a medium for polarisation holographic recording is investigated for the first time. The conditions for producing polarisation beam splitter are optimized in terms of the intensity and temperature dependence of the diffraction efficiency. The mechanism of the processes is discussed on the basis of the experimental data, the phenomena being related to Weigert effect in silver halide systems, and photoinduced defects in chalcogenide systems. |
