3 s at a self-heating temperature of 370 K was studied and kinetics parameters for holes and electrons on the basis of a two-band conduction model were obtained. According to this model the holes are carriers together with the electrons in uranium nitride and the electrical properties have been defined as the ratio of their concentrations. The hole conductivity which is dominant decreases gradually with increasing dose and falls considerably at 10
