New cascade silylcarbocyclization (SiCaC) of enediynes

The Rh(acac)(CO) 2-catalyzed cascade silylcarbocyclizations (SiCaC) of (6 E)- and (6 Z)-dodec-6-ene-1,11-diynes stereospecifically give ( R ∗,R ∗ )- and ( S ∗,R ∗ )-bis( exo-methylenecyclopentyl) respectively in good isolated yields.
