Monoclinic selenium crystal growth

The growth of large single crystals of monoclinic selenium by precipitation from solution in carbon disulfide is described. Some results of measurements of the solubility of monoclinic selenium in carbon disulfide and various halogenated hydrocarbons are also reported.
