Summary: | Limitations and ultimate performance of a fully automatic carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen analyzer with a self-integrating thermal conductivity finish are discussed. It is shown that a simultaneous carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen determination on a sample of 1 mg burned in a static system of oxygen is possible with a standard error of 0.13, 0.07, and 0.18%, respectively. One determination takes 13 minutes. |
