Summary: | A transfer function to describe pool boiling dynamics was previously developed analytically. Dynamic measurements were performed and a transfer function for nucleate boiling was obtained based on experimental results. The transfer function contained an exponential delay term and for this reason was in many cases inconvenient to use. It has recently been found possible to represent the experimental results by a transfer function containing only finite zeros and poles and no exponential delay term. The new transfer function is considered to be an improvement and is presented here. |
