Description
Summary:In the polarization spectroscopy of an excited state label, stimulated transitions occur to ground state vibrational levels in which the Boltzmann population is small. These stimulated transitions, which include the spectral combinations normally observed in spontaneous fluorescence, are characterized by a higher level of brightness than is usual in nonlinear spectroscopy.
