Summary: | The results are presented of the theoretical analysis of spatial light modulators (SLM) with a deformable viscoelastic layer, builtin electrode raster, and change recording at the substrate side. Using a new effective calculation technique, the influence of electrode raster parameters on SLM's characteristics is investigated. The enhancing role of the deformable layer conductive cover is found out for electric deforming forces of latent image. The influence of viscoelastic features of deformable layer (with Voight rheology as example) on SLM's efficiency is investigated too. The SLM's optical scattering rate is considered as a function of transfered signal spatial frequency. The conclusion is made about advantages in transfered spatial frequency bandwidth for SLM with a conductive cover. |
