Summary: | Increase of the number of spontaneous solitons in the short length geometry of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) was observed Experimentally. In an ensemble of approximately 300 events (laser shots) more than 450 solitons have been found. We have measured distributions of soliton amplitudes and soliton delay times. Our data confirm the existence of regions in the depleted pump pulses with different statistics of the solitons which have been predicted theoretically. |
