Description
Summary:Using a surface plasmon (SP) technique we have studied the adsorption of human serum albumin and immunoglobulin G on a modified silver surface. We have found that the SP line is broadening dependent on the amount of adsorbed protein. The optical parameters, thickness and surface concentration of proteins were calculated from experimental data. The correlation between the imaginary parts of refractive indices and the roughness of molecular layers was determined.
