Description
Summary:In SBS lasers, the frequency mismatch between the cavity modes and the exact material resonance is compensated by a nonlinear phase gradient, which in turn modifies the modal structure of the resonator. The actual modes are deduced from the passive cavity modes through an homothetic transformation depending only on the opto-geometric, finite damping and boundary parameters of the cavity.
