Reaction of p-nitrosodiphenylamine with isoprene rubber

A study was made of the reaction of p-nitrosodiphenylamine (PNDPA) with isoprene rubber and it was established that it takes place through nitroso-groups and results in the formation of at least two N-phenyl- p-phenylenediamine derivatives, of which one is added to the macro-molecule, while the othe...

Description
Summary:A study was made of the reaction of p-nitrosodiphenylamine (PNDPA) with isoprene rubber and it was established that it takes place through nitroso-groups and results in the formation of at least two N-phenyl- p-phenylenediamine derivatives, of which one is added to the macro-molecule, while the other has a low molecular weight. A mechanism is proposed for the reaction of PNDPA with isoprene rubber.
