Summary: | To determine the structure of the block copolymers (BC) a study was made of the diffusion and solubility of sulphur in BC of butadiene and styrene of varying composition in the temperature interval 65–110°. The diffusion coefficient and the equilibrium solubility of sulphur in the block copolymers depend on their composition. It is shown that sulphur dissolves selectively in the elastic phase of the block copolymers. It was found that melting of the polystyrene phase in the block copolymers leads to an abrupt increase in the diffusion of sulphur. |
