A structural kinetic method of determining the formation and composition of crosslinked polymers
The dependence of the structural composition of crosslinked polymers on the kinetics of the chemical processes (polymerization, crosslinking) and of the physical (microsyneresis) which accompany the production have been analysed. Summary: | The dependence of the structural composition of crosslinked polymers on the kinetics of the chemical processes (polymerization, crosslinking) and of the physical (microsyneresis) which accompany the production have been analysed. The molecular, supermolecular and the properties of the compositions produced by polymerizing a nonyl acrylate containing a butyl rubber solution have been studied in experimental vulcanizations of the latter. The changes of the relative rates of component productions have been found to result in a significant change in the structure and properties of the compositions. |
